In the winter, Alpine Australia is a truly magical place. If you really want to appreciate the beautiful snow-coated landscapes, strap on a pair of snowshoes.

The FLEX TRK’s were designed to offer superb maneuverability as well as an ergonomic stride on snow. An adjustable heel lift has been added to enable natural movement through variable terrain as well as QuickPull binding for quick transitions.

The Tubbs FLEX TRK snowshoes are perfect for the versatile day hiker.

  • The Flex Trek’s recommended optimal load is 86kg. Optimal Load refers to the total weight of the user plus anything they are carrying, such as a pack, equipment, etc. Recommended loads are based on light, dry snow conditions. Powder snow may require a larger snowshoe.
  • The dimensions are 20cm x 61cm.
  • The weight per pair is 1.7 kgs.
  • The surface area is 419cm.

FLEX TAIL
The ergonomically and bio-mechanically designed FLEX tail absorbs shock from heel strike, which reduces the amount of stress on your joints - allowing you to snowshoe further, longer and with less stress on your body.

ROTATING TOE CORD - ROTATION LIMITER
The Rotating Toe Cord design enables the tail of your snowshoe to drop - shedding any snow build-up, which helps to reduce cardio-respiratory strain by 7%. The underfoot pivot point also allows the toe traction teeth to dig deep into the snow when weighted. A rotation limiter prevents over-rotation and shin bang.

QUICK PULL
A clever forefoot strap on the QuickPull binding cinches easily and unlocks with one buckle push. The pivoting toe stop offers speedy adjustment and the Control Wings keep your heel aligned.

TORSION DECK
The advanced Torsion Deck design adapts to variable snow conditions underfoot. The decks allow torsional articulation throughout the body of the snowshoe, which enhances traction, biomechanics and comfort on uneven terrain.

TRACTION RAILS
A carbon steel toe crampon is ergonomically placed under the foot, which maximises weighted traction and responsiveness while the 3D curved Traction Rails ensure superior side-hill grip in hard or icy conditions. You will also find progressive moulded Snow Brakes on the deck as well as the Soft Strike zone, improving weighted traction.
