For river edges and the deep water at the head of a pool

This is the version for rivers rather than lakes. On a floating line and a longish leader it can be dropped in tight to an edge and jigged down through the fast water at the head of a pool, which is where the better fish sit and where a stripped fly never gets. Olive keeps it plausible while it does that. Let it sink on a slack line, then lift, then let it drop again, and stay in contact throughout.
