The Snow Peak Titanium Single Wall Cup 300ml is 0.4mm of Japanese titanium that weighs next to nothing — 50g — and, unlike a double-wall mug, it can go directly over a gas burner or sit in the coals without warping. Boil your water in it, heat your soup in it, then drink out of it.
Titanium is roughly 45% lighter than steel and a good deal stronger than aluminium. It carries no metallic taste or smell and it will not corrode or rust, so the cup outlasts almost everything else in your kit. The rim is curled for comfortable drinking and the handle folds flat against the body for packing.
The smallest of the three, the 300ml is the right size for a morning cuppa, and it stacks inside the 450ml and 600ml cups. A silicone lid to suit the 300ml mug can be purchased separately.
