The Snow Peak Titanium Single Wall Cup 600ml is 0.4mm of Japanese titanium that weighs next to nothing — 88g — and, unlike a double-wall mug, it can go directly over a gas burner or sit in the coals without warping. Boil your water in it, rehydrate a meal in it, then eat straight out of it.
Titanium is roughly 45% lighter than steel and a good deal stronger than aluminium. It carries no metallic taste or smell and it will not corrode or rust, so the cup outlasts almost everything else in your kit. The rim is curled for comfortable drinking and the handle folds flat against the body for packing.
The largest of the three, the 600ml is big enough to eat soup, noodles or a stew from, and it will swallow a freeze-dried meal pouch or a GigaPower fuel canister for packing. The 300ml and 450ml cups stack inside it.
