A pheasant tail variant with one deliberate change: a band of ice blue dubbing at the thorax, sitting where a natural nymph carries its wing case. It is a cold colour against a warm brown body and that contrast is what a fish picks up on. The copper bead is the warm-toned option, which sets the blue off rather than competing with it. The most natural-looking of the three.
