Smith Optics make the great days better. 

The story of Smith Optics began in 1965 when orthodontist and ski bum Dr Bob Smith started building goggles by hand using dental tools. The first pair of goggles to have a sealed thermal lens and breathable vent foam were sold out of Smith's van on weekend ski trips. These early creations were manufactured by Smith and friends around the kitchen table and often traded for lift tickets. 

The years went on and Smith expanded into sunglasses, snow helmets and bike helmets. Today, Smith is a brand synonymous with innovative, durable and top quality products. In the product development and performance test process Smith involes their team of top name biking, motocross, skiing, snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding and wakeboarding athletes.

Innovative features like ColourPop technology, interchangeable lenses, integrated leashes and their consideration of the environment is what makes Smith stand out from the crowd.
