The Exped Ultra 8R Sleeping Mat is designed for demanding cold weather adventures where warmth, weight, and pack size all matter. Ideal for winter backpacking, alpine tours, and long distance hiking in freezing conditions, it delivers exceptional thermal performance in an ultralight design.
SYNMAT PLUS TECHNOLOGY combines recycled synthetic microfibre insulation with an additional reflective layer to maximise warmth while keeping the mat light, quiet, and compact. The Cradle Comfort construction raises the outer air chambers slightly, improving stability and helping keep the sleeper centred during the night.
The recycled bluesign recognised ripstop polyester fabric is ultra light yet significantly stronger than conventional materials. Two flat valves allow quick inflation and rapid deflation, while the included Schnozzel pumpbag enables fast and moisture free inflation.
