RIO's Morrish Hopper - Tan

Floaty and flat at the same time

Ken Morrish's design solved a contradiction: hoppers need enough foam to stay up and carry a nymph, but a bulky fly sits perched on the surface when a real hopper lies flat and half-sunk in it. This one manages both, which is why the pattern spread the way it did. Tan is the natural end of it. Fish it as a single dry, hang a nymph below it, or twitch it and hang on.
