The Exped Ultra 3R Sleeping Mat is designed for backpackers who want minimal weight and compact pack size without sacrificing comfort. Ideal for backpacking, bikepacking, long distance hiking, and alpine travel in moderate temperatures, it provides reliable insulation for spring, summer, and autumn adventures.
Inside the mat, SYNMAT TECHNOLOGY uses recycled Texpedloft insulation welded to the top and bottom of the air chambers. This construction helps prevent cold spots caused by air circulation, improving insulation from the ground. The Cradle Comfort design raises the outer air chambers slightly to provide better support and help keep the sleeper centred during the night.
The recycled bluesign recognised ripstop polyester fabric is ultra light while offering increased durability compared with conventional lightweight materials. Two flat valves allow quick inflation and rapid deflation, while the included Schnozzel pumpbag enables fast and moisture free inflation.
