The Exped Ultra 3R Sleeping Mat Mummy is designed for backpackers who prioritise minimal weight and compact pack size while maintaining reliable comfort and insulation. Ideal for backpacking, bikepacking, long distance hiking, and alpine trips in moderate temperatures, it delivers dependable three season performance.
Inside the mat, SYNMAT TECHNOLOGY uses recycled Texpedloft insulation welded to the top and bottom of the air chambers. This construction helps reduce cold spots caused by internal air circulation and improves insulation from the ground. The Cradle Comfort™ design raises the outer air chambers slightly, improving stability and helping keep the sleeper centred during the night.
The mummy shape reduces weight and packed size while maintaining insulation where it is most important. The recycled bluesign recognised ripstop polyester fabric is ultra light yet highly durable. Two flat valves allow quick inflation and rapid deflation, while the included Schnozzel pumpbag enables fast and moisture free inflation.
