The Exped Ultra 3R Duo Sleeping Mat is designed for backpackers and trekkers who want to share a lightweight sleep system without sacrificing comfort or insulation. Built for trekking, bikepacking, long distance hiking, and alpine travel in moderate temperatures, it offers reliable three season performance with a compact pack size.
Two independent air chambers create separate mat halves, helping prevent movement from transferring across the mat during the night. SYNMAT TECHNOLOGY uses recycled Texpedloft insulation welded to the top and bottom of the air chambers to reduce internal air circulation and minimise cold spots. The Cradle Comfort design raises the outer air chambers slightly to improve stability and support while sleeping.
The recycled bluesign recognised ripstop polyester fabric is ultra light while offering improved durability compared with conventional lightweight materials. Two flat valves allow quick inflation and rapid deflation, while the included Schnozzel pumpbag enables fast and moisture free inflation.
