A shrimp on a sand flat is close to invisible from above and pale from below, which is exactly what a tan back over a white belly gives you. That makes this the version for clear water and bright days, when a fish has time to look. It is lightly weighted rather than heavy, so it can be worked over weed beds without dropping into them, and the rubber trailing legs keep wiggling on the pause. Carry both sizes: the smaller one for spooky fish.
