A prawn, moving the way a prawn actually moves

James Christmas designed this one on the Alphonse flats, and the profile translates straight to Australian water: prawns are on the menu almost everywhere here, in estuaries, off beaches and along lake edges. Fish it slowly with short hops rather than a steady retrieve, because a prawn moves in bursts and then stops dead, and the stop is usually when the take comes. Bream, whiting and flathead are the obvious targets over sand and weed.
