Red has a long record on Australian dries, and the Red Wulff puts that trigger on a high-floating hair-wing frame. It is a useful third option when the grey is too sober and the royal is too loud, and it comes into its own on tannin and tea-coloured water where a red body still reads clearly. Heavily hackled and bucktail winged, so it takes a hammering through rough water without needing constant drying.
