This is the parachute version on a barbless hook, so it comes out of a fish cleanly and out of your jacket, your net and your finger just as easily. That matters on a fly you will be changing often and on water where catch and release is the point. Carry it from 12 down to 18 and you have most rising-fish situations covered.
