Rust and amber, for tannin water

The fall dressing is warm rather than bright, which is exactly what works in tea-coloured water flowing off buttongrass and forest country. Where a black fly disappears into tannin and a white one glares, the rust and amber tones hold a readable outline. It is also a good choice under heavy tree cover and in the last hour of light, when the water is dark but a loud fly would be too much. Same retrieve as the rest: strip, pause, wait for the weight to come on.
