The bead that stays orange when everything else goes grey

Fluorescent pigments do something ordinary paint cannot: they hold their own colour whatever light is left, so a fluoro orange bead still reads as orange at depths where plain red and orange have gone dull and dark. That makes this the deep-water and dirty-water version of the pattern, for heavy runs, high flows and the sort of light that makes everything look grey. Fish it as the heavy point fly and let it do the finding while a more natural nymph sits above it on the dropper.
