No hackle, no tail, and that is the point

The F-Fly is one of those designs that does more with less: no hackle, no tail, just a body and a small wing, sitting flush in the film. This is Jeremy Lucas's variant of it, and the point of the mole fur body is that it is fine, dark and dense enough to hold the slim profile of a small sedge or a dark midge. Reach for it when fish are rising steadily to something you cannot identify and nothing bigger is being taken.
