Two flies, one snip apart

Two flies in one, and the second is a snip away. Fished as it comes it is a CdC Red Tag. Cut the red tail off and what is left is a black F-Fly, which is the fly you want when fish are on small dark midges and nothing showy is being taken. Being able to change pattern on the water without opening a box is worth more on a hard day than most anglers give it credit for.
