The hopper legs of the original with CdC in place of the stiff hackle, which changes where the fly sits. Instead of standing on its hackle points it settles down into the film, and that matters most on flat calm days when a high-riding fly casts a hard shadow and looks like exactly what it is. Fish it when there is no ripple to hide behind and the surface has gone glassy.
