The Gransfors Bruk Small Hatchet is the lightest of all their axes and makes the perfect addition to a hiking trip. Despite its size, the small hatchet is excellent for cutting and splitting kindling, limbing small branches, and even hammering in tent pegs using the poll of the head. The Small Hatchet was developed for those looking for a very light axe but still retaining the utility of larger, traditional axes.

Each axe head is hand forged and will have slight variations in texture and finish. Each axe handle's grain pattern varies from axe to axe.
