Big enough to carry a nymph, bright enough to follow

Frank is a blockheaded foam grasshopper, and the block is the point. There is enough foam in the body to hold the fly up under a weighted nymph, which is where most hoppers give up, and the parachute post keeps a visible marker on top of all that bulk so the drift can be tracked through riffles and glare. Silicone legs do the rest, working on the twitch and on the pause. Fish the Parachute Frankenhopper as a searching dry, or hang a dropper underneath and let it serve as both fly and indicator.
