Some fish rise steadily and refuse everything, and the answer is rarely a bigger or brighter fly. It is usually a change of shade and a lower profile. That is the job this one does: a parachute sitting flush in the film, subtle enough not to spook a fish that is already suspicious, and different enough from the standard olives to be worth a cast when the obvious choice has stopped working. Rest the fish, change to this, and come back with a longer, finer leader.
