The Smith Backcast sunglasses pair the glare cutting performance needed on the water with a look suited to everyday wear. ChromaPop Glass polarised lenses lift colour and contrast while cutting reflected glare, and the high contrast brown base tint suits inshore water in medium to bright conditions. The lens is built from scratch resistant optical grade mineral glass and blocks 100% of UVA, UVB and UVC rays. A 6-base lens curvature gives a modest wraparound fit with large coverage, AutoLock hinges hold the frames open for easy one handed use, and Megol temple and nose pads keep the lightweight Evolve bio-based frame in place. Leash ready temple tip holes allow a retainer to be attached when the wind picks up.
