The Hyperlite Mountain Gear CrossPeak 1 takes the freestanding design, stability and quick pitch of the CrossPeak 2 and brings them to a solo backpacking tent. A compact footprint hides a genuinely livable interior with generous headroom, a zippered vestibule for boots and pack, an internal storage pocket and clothesline attachment loops, so a one person tent no longer has to feel like a coffin. Waterproof Dyneema Composite Fabrics keep the weight low without giving up durability or weather protection, while perimeter mesh moves air through the shelter and DAC aluminium poles running in external sleeves hold the shape when conditions turn. Reinforced guy out points, Lawson Ironwire guyline and pole retention straps for trekking poles add further stability on exposed sites. At 813 g packed, the CrossPeak 1 sits among the lightest freestanding one person tents available.
