The Hultafors Reinforced Overstrike Guard is a heavy duty leather collar for the Kvillinge Splitting Axe. It protects the section of handle closest to the head if a swing goes long. It's also known as a handle protector or axe collar, and it ties around the handle with the included leather cords. The guard is made in Sweden from the hides of Swedish cows, with care for the animals and the environment. The leather is vegetable tanned full grain for long lasting durability, splitting session after splitting session.
