Built flat for fast stony water

The nymphs that live in fast stony runs are built flat and low so the current cannot lift them off the rock, and this is that shape: tapered, slim across the back, with the bulk kept in the thorax. Fish it in riffles and over broken stone rather than in silt or weed, which is where the naturals it is shaped like actually live. If you carry the dun as well, run the nymph through in the hours before anything starts showing on top.
