Redfin are one of the main things a Murray cod eats in the impoundments, and a fly that matches one needs iron behind it, because a metre-plus fish will straighten anything lighter. This is tied on a heavy saltwater hook for exactly that reason. Fish it slowly around timber and rock walls with a fast sinking line, and give it time on the drop. Worth carrying in the Riverina impoundments whether you are chasing cod deliberately or not.
