Dee Devil, Tasmanian Devil, hard to say there is much in it. The River Dee is in another hemisphere but our brown trout are descended from that same stock, and they eat this fly here for the same reasons they eat it there. There is a great deal packed into a small pattern: hot spots, hackle, contrast and highlights, all working at once. General enough in outline to draw a fish in, and carrying enough triggers to get eaten. Swing it or dead drift it.
