The obvious way to fish something this size is a sink tip, but there is a better one. A long, heavy leader off a floating line lets the fly drop between pulls and lift again on the retrieve, which gives it a jigging action a sinking line flattens out. The fly is keeled so it holds an even attitude while that happens rather than rolling over. Olive suits clear water and fish that are looking properly. Use a rod with some backbone and tippet to match.
