Insect repellent is built into the fabric rather than sprayed on, and SolarShield construction adds UPF 50+ sun protection for long days in open country. The easy-care, quick-drying fabric wicks moisture and resists odour, while a part-elasticated waist with a wicking mesh inner band keeps things comfortable under a pack hipbelt. Ten pockets, including a Zip'n'Clip security pocket, handle everything from a passport to a map, and ankle zips with heel tape make the legs easy to pull over boots.
