Patagonia Technical Packs Size Guide
How To Measure
Sizing Overview
Patagonia technical packs are sized on your torso length, not your height. A pack that matches your torso carries its load on your hips rather than your shoulders, so measure before choosing a size. Where a pack is offered in combined sizes, the hipbelt range is the second check.
How to Measure Your Torso
1. Tuck your chin to your chest and feel for the large bone at the base of your neck - this is the top of your torso measurement
2. Find the top of your hip bones, then find the middle point between them on your lower back - this is the bottom of your torso measurement
3. Standing up straight, have someone measure between the two points to find your correct pack size
How to Measure Your Hips/Waist
1. Find the top of your hip bones and use that as your starting point
2. Wrap the tape around your waist, staying close to the top of your hip bones

| Size | Torso | Waist |
|---|---|---|
| Small | 35.5 - 43cm | 66 - 119.5cm |
| Medium | 40.5 - 48cm | 66 - 119.5cm |
| Large | 45.5 - 53.5cm | 71 - 124.5cm |
| S/M | 40.5 - 48cm | 71 - 91.5cm |
| L/XL | 48 - 56cm | 81.5 - 106.5cm |
Note: The table above shows body measurements, not pack dimensions. Sizes overlap by design - choose the smaller size for a closer carry, the larger for more adjustment room.
