The Sea to Summit Sentinel XP1 is a freestanding one person tent built for the conditions that send lighter shelters home early. A 40D polycarbonate coated floor rated to 25,000 mm sits under an Ultra-Sil LS rainfly that absorbs less water and holds a tighter pitch once it is wet, while self equalising guylines and an aerodynamic profile keep the tent stable in winds above 80 km/h. DAC poles and Hex Hub architecture make the pitch quick even with cold hands, and a fly first setup means the inner stays dry going up and coming down. Steep walls open up the interior for long spells waiting out weather, cross flow AirLift vents work against condensation, and Stargaze mode rolls the view open when the sky finally clears. Rated 3+ season, it is a wet weather backcountry shelter rather than a full four season mountaineering tent.
