A proven legend of the Orvis reel family, the Battenkill disc fly reel, is now ushered into the next decade. The improved design hasn't altered the trusted reliability and workhorse nature of the reel, instead Orvis has worked on tightening tolerance for even smoother operation. The Battenkill disc reel incorporates six interacting carbon and stainless drag surfaces and the positive click drag is simple and easy to adjust. Each reel is crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium with an ergonomic Delrin handle.
