Made in New Zealand by Noble Wilde, the Merino & Possum Trekka Sock brings together the brand's celebrated blend of merino wool, ethically sourced possum fur and silk for a thick, warm sock suited to almost any activity. The blend of 36% merino wool, 26% possum fur, 7% silk and 31% synthetic delivers warmth and softness while wicking moisture away. A four-panel construction makes the sock supremely hardwearing, with higher-density possum merino pile through the toe and heel and extra flat seams at the toe to help protect against blisters on long walks. The calf uses elasticated merino possum, while the foot upper and arch feature elasticated synthetic panels for flexibility and moisture management. Light and breathable thanks to the natural warmth of merino and the hollow fibres of the fur, the Trekka Sock resists pilling and bobbling, is machine washable, and sits at mid-calf, just above the top of high-top trekking boots.
