Manic Tackle Ultimate Egg - Brite Red

For water you would not fish a subtle fly in

After heavy rain, when the river carries colour and the light is flat, a muted egg simply disappears. Brite red is the loud end of the range, the one that stays findable when visibility drops to a metre or less. It also earns its keep at dawn and last light through the colder months, when fish are working on silhouette more than detail. Drift it deep and slow with enough weight to keep it near the bottom, and expect the take to feel like the fly has stopped rather than pulled.
