Smaller than the standard chenille worms, which matters more than it sounds. A fish that has drifted up to a full-size worm and turned away has usually decided it is too much, and dropping to a mini is a better move than changing colour again. The two-tone body keeps some of the interest of a bright fly at a size that is easier to accept. Fish it as the dropper above a heavier nymph.
