The Altra Men's Olympus 7 Mid GTX brings together weather protection and maximum cushioning for hikers who cover serious distance. A lightweight, durable stretch upper with GORE-TEX Invisible Fit helps keep moisture out while maintaining a natural fit, and the updated mid top collar construction with webbing adds support around the ankle without feeling rigid. Underfoot, new Altra EGO MAX foam is lighter and softer than the previous compound for a well cushioned ride, while a Vibram MegaGrip outsole with TractionLug and increased outsole coverage delivers traction across wet rock, loose gravel and muddy ground. The zero drop Balanced Cushioning platform keeps the heel and forefoot level to encourage a natural stride over rough terrain.
