"We're In Business To Save Our Home Planet."
Patagonia has a wonderful and profound mission statement that has captured the world's attention!
Their love of our wild, beautiful and exotic planet is what continues to inspire Patagonia to join the fight to reverse the steep decline in our precious planets overall health and save these wonderful parts of the world from further deterioration.
Patagonia grew from a small company that originally made tools for climbers. Alpinism remains at the heart of a worldwide business that still makes clothes for climbing – as well for snowboarding, surfing, fly fishing, mountain biking, skiing and trail running.
With such a huge range of outdoor activities covered it’s easy to see why Patagonia is such a well-loved brand worldwide, not just here in Australia. These silent sports, whilst extracting a huge amount of energy and gusto from a person, none require an engine and rarely do they require the cheers of a crowd. Each delivering the reward of hard-won grace and connection with nature.
As the climate crisis deepens the threat to end these activities we know and love becomes even more real. At Tom’s Outdoors, we live & breathe adventure, we’re proud of where we live. That’s why aligning ourselves with companies that are Fairtrade Certified and aim to protect the environment is a core value of ours. Our store is located in the Snowy Mountains, NSW - however our online store operates 24/7.
It is our pleasure to be associated with Patagonia Australia and we proudly boast a large range of clothing, fly fishing gear & sale items and other accessories.
