When one look outside at the sagging grey sky makes you want to run back in beside the fire with a blanket and a good book, bundle up with this weather-wise parka. The Patagonia Womens Transitional Parka is perfect for those miserable rainy days when you want to head outdoors but don't want to freeze your derrière off on the way.

The Transitional Parka is not only a highly technical piece of clothing it is stylish and designed with the lady in mind. Utilising Patagonia's most technical synthetic insulation to date, the Parka's nonwoven HyperDAS high-loft insulation is extremely warm. The 100% recycled polyester shell with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish means its also incredibly weatherproof, protecting you from light rain and snow.

We all know women have a tendency to feel the cold, which is why the team at Patagonia have created a Jacket that provides extra warmth and length where it's needed. One of the benefits of its high-loft HyperDAS insulation is exceptionally warm and compressible, and it’s kept in place with wide baffles that hoard heat.

The attached hood provides extra warmth and the DWR (durable water repellent) finish means you stay warm and dry even in harsh conditions.

Let's talk about some of the unique touches on the Transitional Parka - It has a center-front zipper that continues through the high collar. It's knee-length which means that your entire core is kept warm and the gaskets on the angled cuffs block the cold. On-seam zippered handwarmer pockets are great for stashing the gloves and keeping your hands toasty-warm. The princess seams, front and back, ensure a flattering fit.

  • Wide baffles keep heat in, allowing insulation to do its job and keep you toasty; attached hood provides extra warmth
  • Modern raglan sleeves allow for addition movement
  • Center-front Vislon® zipper
  • On-seam zippered handwarmer pockets
  • Angled cuffs with gaskets to keep out the cold
