Exploring a remote alpine area like the Overland Track, Tasmania is a serious undertaking. It means you need to be ready for anything - Extreme weather, rapid changes in temperatures.. Wind, rain, and snow are possible at any time of the year.

But don't worry, as usual, Patagonia Australia has you covered! The updated Womens Nano-Air Hoody is not only warm, stretchy and breathable, it features FullRange insulation and improved durability. The new shell fabric is super-soft so you can wear it all day long and for the entirety of your start-stop mission in the mountains.

Here's where things get really interesting. The Nano-Air Hoody has been cleverly designed by the Patagonia team and sets a new standard for technical insulation. They've combined the breathability of open fleece with the warmth and protection of a puffy to keep you comfortable and snug in a range of conditions.

The fabric shell, made from weather-shedding 100% nylon ripstop material means you stay comfortable and dry in the wettest conditions. Combined with a plain-weave liner and their advanced warm-when-wet FullRange insulation this hoody is versatile, supremely stretchy and breathable.

The hoody has a full mechanical stretch that allows for a close, athletic fit over baselayers. When you're trekking through arduous terrains you want an uninhibited range of motion and the Nano-Air Hoody gives you just that. Its incredibly soft and has a supple feel against the skin for extreme comfort and has a Femininely sculpted fit. And because Patagonia understands just how quickly conditions can change, pull on a lightweight shell and the Nano-Air's thermal properties skyrocket.

The hood has been uniquely designed for next-to-noggin use. Its trim and stretchy making it flexible enough to fit over low-profile helmets. Its fitted with two above-harness handwarmer pockets and a pair of smaller chest pockets all close with trim, low bulk zippers.

Comfort is critical when exploring the Australian countryside, so is functionality. The center-front zipper has a zipper garage for next-to-skin comfort. Fitted with a dual-adjustable drawcord the hem traps in warmth and the cuffs comprise of a sleek, low bulk stretch-knit inset. Like most Patagonia winter jackets the hoody has a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.
