The Southwest 40 (formerly known as the 2400) Pack from Hyperlite Mountain Gear is a super nimble, almost weightless pack coming in at just 850g. Constructed using a highly durable, water-resistant Dyneema fabric, the Southwest 40 is designed to withstand seasonal changes and harsh Australian environments. 

The Southwest 40 is a compact companion for streamlined hikers venturing into the wilderness for an overnighter or long weekend. The wide top opening offers quick, uninterrupted entry to the internal compartment so you can say goodbye to fiddly zippers and excess pockets and get what you need hassle-free.

Hyperlite has also incorporated three generous, external Dyneema pockets for easy access to your gear whether it be an outer layer, food or water filter.
